Planned Replacement Programme

Cantor & Nissel offer a comprehensive range of planned replacement programmes for soft contact lenses which allow for the frequent, programmed replacement of lenses at reduced cost. Simplicity and flexibility are the keynotes; any lens may be covered.

For hospital patients who may damage or spoil their lenses the frequent programmed replacement of lenses at reduced cost is considered a particularly attractive financial proposition.

Hospital Plan, Focus Plan and Flexicare in action

  • When ordering by post, fax or telephone, confirm that planned replacement is required and state the frequency of replacement. Typically, lenses may be replaced at monthly or 3-monthly intervals but any replacement interval can be specified.
  • When a patient is registered on any of the Planned Replacement Programmes - Hospital Plan, Focus Plan or Flexicare - a computerised record is set up.
  • Cantor & Nissel will confirm the details of the scheme for each patient along with the first delivery of lenses.
  • Lenses will then be despatched as required by the frequency of replacement. Monthly planned replacement lenses are sent in 3 month packs. For other replacement periods, a new pair is despatched 2 weeks prior to replacement date

Tinted lenses can be included
Lenses covered by replacement plans can be tinted. A standard additional charge will be applied for this process.

Cancellation
To cancel or amend the Replacement Plan at any time please quote the patient's record number.

Lensplan features

  • Minimal paperwork by both practitioner and patient
  • Available on any lens provided specifications are available
  • Lenses can be sent directly to patients at the practitioner's request

Lensplan availability

  • Any rigid or soft lens manufactured by Cantor & Nissel Ltd.
  • Any rigid or soft lens produced by another manufacturer provided that a full specification is available and subject to individual review by Cantor & Nissel.
